– Safe and environmentally friendly.
Lithium battery:
Comparison between Lead acid batteries and Lithium batteries:
Lithium Batteries | Lead-acid Batteries | |
|---|---|---|
| Lifespan | Tests indicate that after 4,000 charge/discharge cycles (15 years) | Working condition still well 1,000~1,500 cycles (5 years) |
| Charging | Fast charging, intermittent charging | Only charge when the battery capacity is 20% left so the performance not be affected |
| Safety | Lithium battery EIKTO brand is equipped with Battery Management System (BMS). | There is potential of danger caused by acidic during charging |
| Energy Efficiency | The energy density is about 140Wh/Kg, 3 times more than a lead acid battery. | Energy conversion efficiency is only about 85%, lithium battery is 98%. |
| Maintenance | Maintenance free | Distilled water/acid… |
| Technology | You can monitor battery life and manage even on your phone | Technology is limited because the structure is quite simple |
| Storage capacity | Just need to store the Lithium battery in the warehouse in case not use | Need to charge and refill distilled water 1-2 times/month |
| Total cost of ownership | With a lithium battery cost about 80 million you can use for at least 15 years, no other additional costs. | A Lead acid battery costs about 60 million, the cost of distilled water, labor, and charging time is stable only in the first 5 years. |
